they look sick but there's one thing i'm concerned about


the passenger side bulb has like a little black line on the ground right in front of the car. i tried readjusting the bulb, and nothing! the left side is fine it looks perfect. but my right side almost looks like its dimmer as well. could i have gotten a 5K and 4300K bulb?hmm

does anyone have any idea what my problem is?

look fine to me. are you running projector housings or no? I run mobileHID 5k as well in 06 headlights and OEM fogs.

its projector housings, yes its an 09. maybe that black line is annoying the ____ out of me hahaha hmm maybe i should give cliff a call.

 

make sure the bulbs are in the housing correctly. other than that...idk. does your headlight have dirt on it? lol

 

if its a projector housing, then its probably the projector that u want to adjust if the cutoff line is uneven.

 

i made sure both bulbs were in perfect.and they are. and no my headlight is clean lol it looks like its the little metal strip over the bulb. you can see the refelction of it when looking right at the headlight housing on BOTH sides but only on the right side is when it shows on the ground. idk its weird.

 

Im not 100% sure what ur talking about but you could check the bulb to make sure you didnt scratch it while putting it in. In the 08-09 projector housings there kinda hard to get in and it could possibly be scratched.

 

Swap the bulbs- easy way to find out if its the bulb (unlikely) or your housing.

 

some distortion of the light is going to appear,you will never get HID perfection in a Halogen projector,look at the positive you can no see a lot better in the dark.......

I see it. Wow that's odd. Have you tried swapping bulbs?

 

nah i think i might try that today and see how it works out. i posted the pic on cliff's ad thread so hopefully he can help me out.
