ok let me chime in on this, i had lumincs ultra white bulbs before and the output was worst than stock bulbs but i liked how the housing looked blue in the day time, but i now have HIDs which was a great choice. as far as having them for the high beam i say go for it, i and several other friends have Luminics JDM yellow and no harness and some of them use them majority of the time and the blubs are still good with over a 1 1/2 years. if you bought them from autoilluminationusa.com then they are a really good shop because they are local to me but i have bought alot of stuff from them since i started modding my first car (not the tc but another car) and never had a problem with them, same thing with friends that go there too.

First of all it's the wattage and the heat that the Luminics generate that melts the harnesses... therefore, they're nothing but poop...

Second of all, if you want to stick to halogens for the highbeams, then the Sylvania SilverStars are great bulbs... the only downside is that I haven't seen how "purple" the Nokya's are - so the SilverStars may not be the right color that you are looking for.

I actually have SilverStar Ultimates in my Highs now. Light output is amazing, but i think purple might be more interesting...

not to start a HID war but MobileHID has one of the best warranties you could ask for and at great prices.

Those purple bulbs would probably look pretty sick in the housing even when off... still sick and strays away from the yellow & blue that alot of people have.

I think I may have to try these out. Thanks for the link

So you ordered a part THEN asked for advice and reviews about them? AWESOME THINKING

edit. if you want a GREAT HID for a cheaper price, www.ddmtuning.com They sell Apexecone HID's with lifetime warranties for only 49.99! I've run these in my previous 2 vehicles with no problems at all.

lol @ shameless plugs for HID companys.

But yea... the FM color does go pretty good with purple, my faux fur a-pillars were black that faded to purpleish black and it looks even sicker. :D

I concur with these bulbs sucking anus. I had them on my 05 and they melted the connector.
