im wondering right now if i should just get yellow overlays or get the nokya bulbs, what do you guys reccomend?

well i see some people get the vinyls just so it gives a little protection to the glass on the fogs and i like the way it looks so maybe i will get both like you said

 

I just got my Nokya 25000k bulbs in the mail today. And I have a 35% tint on my APT for protection. LOL

I got mines from amazon. But on my package it says 55w instead of the 70w on the ebay ones. Mines didn't come with the negative wire. Where do u hook the negative part from the harness that came with the foglights? I remember getting a negative part that came with the foglights but lost it after i put HIDs in.

Just buy it and cut it.

 

the bulbs only come with one wire. Then the one wire from the harness goes on that little screw that holds the bulbs in.

 

Do you have to screw that harness into the housing? Will it short circuit if I don't do that?

 

I dont think it will work without doing it.

 

Put silicone on the housing of the fogs before you put them in....i've seen them fog way too many times.

ive got 2 layers of vinyl on my fogs and ive had them for almost 2 years now. ive seen people with cracked/broken fogs and usually they dont have any protection at all just bare fogs. so having some kind of vinyl on your fogs is pretty much recommended if you wanna keep them in good shape.

 

Does anyone else have a fogging problem? Do u have to bake the fogs to add silicone?

 

you dont need to bake them but from what ive read and heard from others is they put a bead of silicone around the rubber boot area in the rear. anyone care to show exactly where they did there's?
