IMHO; get rid of the "tC" emblem. Looks too busy with the ghosted "Scion" emblem. I painted my rear "Scion" and "tC" emblems black as well and put them back on. Looks great! I'm not into 'debadging' my tC.

As someone who doesn't own a scion, I think it looks good. Can't really see the scion emblem.

Looks good...I did the same thing to mine. The only problem I have with it is when bugs and road debris hit it, the paint chips. I've repainted it three times. I think I've finally found paint that works, because it hasn't chipped this time (knock on wood).

u tried to paint it on the car? LOL.

you shouldve just took it off and then got some double sided tape or see if you can find the emblem adhesive at local car part store. I couldnt find it, but double sided tape worked just fine.

Looks good, here is mine. Just painted it with flat black and no clear coat. Has been lasting me for longer than 6 months. Put silicone on the back and glued it back in, it will never come off. Also did it to the emblem in the back.

I used Dulpi-Color 'Low Gloss Black' on my emblems. (As well as the grill on my Sub and the Mud Guards.) Shot them with 3-4 coats of Clear and they were good to go...
Front

Rear

IMHO, I think the Clear makes the emblems look a little more clean and professional. I haven't had any trouble with chipping and its been about 18 months since I painted them.
