:o ! Shhhhhhh! We Have 2 Plate law here in Cali. As long as I don't drive like an ****, I won't get pulled over. Besides, what makes me any different than the Cadallics, Mercedes, Hummers, and BMWs (etc.) that don't have front plates here in Cali?

^^I actually have my front plate under my Driver's side seat. Just in case...

 

i would take the scion emblem off the front and blackout the TC emblem, I like that in the front, nice.

 

so you want there to be a blank circle in the middle of the grille? if you keep the stock grille, but want that all black look, paint the emblem and reinstall it. it looks retarded without it

 

hehe I live in michigan where we only need the one plate in the rear.

 

I like the blacked out emblems in the back, not really feeling the tc emblem relocated to the front grille, but thats just my 2 cents.

I am having a heck of a time gettin my paint to not chip off my emblems. I put multiple coats of clear on them, just wondering how long should I wait til putting them back on. Do they need a few days to cure and get all sealed up so they wont chip any longer. Or should I try to primer them first to get the paint to stick better?

Question two, i'm wondering is a combo of paint thinner and sanding will yield the same effect.
