I was just wondering if any of you know the difference in weight between the stock hood and the weights of the kamanari fiberglass reverse cowl and the carbon fiber version because 800.00 plus for the carbonfiber is alot want to see if it's really worth getting.

 

for weight reduction. no, it really isn't a significant loss. but i have seen them in person, they look awesome.

yup there is a notible weight difference, come on your taking metal off and putting fiberglass

well we know the c/f hoods use a fiberglass shell, only thing your paying for is the weave on top, I'm not knocking the c/f hoods, i would have gotten the kami in c/f if it wasn't $800.
