Default Kaminari Carbon Fiber Hood

Hey I just got the Carbon Fiber Hood from Kaminari, what is the best way to put the windshield wiper fluid sprayers on? Should I drill holes in the hood? Take it to a body shop? Just leave them off? Or what?

did you ordered it from kaminari or another site? id say see if u can get a shop to drill for you, a shop with experience, or if u trust urself do it lol or use alot of rain x

anyways i ordered my kaminari hood in frp through viniati.com and they said that the hood would come directly from kaminari so it would take 5 days to make it, however i should have asked the guy to have it noted to drill holes for the washers.

I also know that they come dimpled where they should be drilled, is ur carbon fiber hood dimpled??

shouldn't be.. and i think they look cleaner without them

honestly i wouldn't for a hood that expensive.

you'll live without the sprayers..... i have for the last few months... it sucks at times.... but you'll survive. find other ways to deal.

rain-x is your friend.

well.... that's when you have to deal with it... you gotta have some glass cleaner and stuff in the car... clean when you're not moving.

well.. you can always rig something else up.

as long as you don't drill in that lovely CF hood for those nozzles...

dont you go drilling that hood! i didnt put the squirters on mine. rain-X and window wipes. i havent even had an instance where i really needed the wipers. i only really used the squirters to spray people who ____ed me off or ride my tail. im gonna rig it so it squirts their cars directly. on of our boxes has hers rigged like that lol. looks like her box is peeing on people.

I wouldn't drill holes in the hood either...not for as nice as clean as a CF hood looks. If your windshield is dirty..just wash it with mild/soap water when you get home.

Yes I agree with the others don't drill holes in the hood.

The only situation where you actually probably need your washer nozzles is when mud splashes up on your windshield - because even if you use your wipers the mud is gonna make it a bit hard to see. But otherwise than that, you don't really need them.

I've only used my washer nozzles once in the 6 months I've had the car - that was the night I was at the dealer to check if they worked - that's it. Haven't used them since.

And like others have said - get some Rain-X, that's stuff works wonders.

I don't think I've ever used my washer nozzles.... I don't even think I know how to hahaha. Maybe its cuz I keep my car clean and the weather in California is so nice to me and my car.
