FLEA i hear ya on the cops cracking down on people for tinted tails. every single person i know with them has been hassled or ticketed for em...different cars too.

im voting for red tint this time around.

 

every single person? good thing you don't know me i've had tint on my TYCs ever since i got my ride. damn california!

Ok, I got a photoshop request for anyone that has the skills to do so. Photoshop the close up picture of my taillights in a Black Sand Pearl color or one of the red colors that Scion offers on the tC but with some flake in there. I was driving around today and see tons of tinted tails, overlays, VHT painted tails. I'm hoping to go for a metal flake tinted tail...I know puddlestc did it to his and they came out nice. I Want to be different and set apart from the crowd...but not too far apart where cops will go after me. The metal flake in our cars paint is nice, personally I think that a lightly flaked taillight would compliment the car, instead of black or glossy black.

I won't go as dark as this, definitely lighter (depending on color).

i think u should color match it to ur car, im not sure if thats what ur talkin about the metal flake in there. thatd look sick

 

Did them in BSP. Lasted that way for about 2 days, until a cop pulled me over and gave me a "warning".

 

That sucks. What was his explanation of why your tails are illegal?
(I know why, just want to hear what the cop said. )
Maybe you should have done them red? j/k
