Knight Rider Scion Brake Light
First, if this is a repost, I apologize, I did try to search for it, but could not find it.
Anyway, as far as how things go, this video has a decent cool factor, even though I could never do it. But just for $hits and giggles, anyone ever do this before?

which is very similar. I figure from this DIY guide, you can do a mock-up of the Knight Rider thing. Good luck man.

The flashing LEDs are connected to a chip driver so the lights will have that effect. I had my turn signals done with a sequential effect. Very nice work though on that 3rd brake light.

It seems kind of similar to what I had but I dunno how he might have done the circuitry.
I think if the light is always on, he would have had to add at least one additional wire running from the battery or maybe he could have tapped the power from the liscence plate lights.
I wonder if he actually cut through the light housing to put hardboard LEDs in the light?

I bet you a few bucks he used two varad or similiar scanners and just wired the 12 v lead to his brake light housing and put them in there...
with a little modification, two of these (or something similiar) would pull off the same effect

NEW PROJECT FOR ME!!! (I was running out of fun stuff)
