Ok so idk if you remember me saying I had a problem when I bought the turn signals but I was pretty upset and didn't wann deal with it that's why I didnt reply back....sorry. But I'm planning to try it again Friday. So Im gonna open it up and I need to scar up the metal pretty good? My brother is doin it for me so I'm kinda lost...lol. What else do I need to do? Thanks.

Yes, you need to scar the metal really good. I use one of my disk air sanders to remove the shiny surface down to the copper layer.

 

Super ninja Wednesday BUMP! 3 day weekend, here we come!

 

Ok so my brother said he thinks he knows what went wrong....he says that he put them on backwards and ended up burning them? not sure something about the polarity....so how do we know which way is which? thanks.

 

Backwards should not kill them, they could have been put in sideways causing a short which would kill them. The negative side has a notch cut in he plastic. Also if you look at the bottom, the pos and neg side are divided by the metal.
