wow, i just did mine yesterday and tehy look amazing. after doing this with a dremel i have no idea how you managed to do this with a hot knife.

 

It is not a walmart issue hot knife Cuts it like butter.

Right on man I think I saw your walkthrough. This one simply uses a more reliable superflux led geared more for automotive use which is why I made this post. Good stuff man!

I just put on some of Headlightarmor.com stealth smoke (20% tint) overlays on my side markers. I was worried that the overlay would block out all of the light, but its still super bright

Sorry for crappy camera phone pics. They have a gray-ish tint to them now, but it still looks great

 

Looks good man, these leds are BRIGHT so the tint would not black them out

 

these are great thanks for the great leds garage did them last week but have a bad solder on right door. the left looks awsome tho thanks a bunch I used a stove and a knife to cut mine open = hot knife
