how do u expect to see much w/ the xb2's one reverse light? and there are several cars out there w/ poorly located reverse lights

 

Er.. no.. thats not a joke. The purpose of Reverse Lights isn't for YOU to see behind you.. but for OTHER people to see you are Reversing.

If it was intended for YOU to see behind.. they would have put brighter bigger bulbs.

 

wow. I guess your not alone in that thinking gimmelub.
But it IS intended to give off some light to see behind you at night, as most people already know. It does also let people know youre backing up tho.
I bet the people who think the RL is for other people to see you ONLY never use their mirrors to back up.

well.. i mean if you think about it.. the reverse bulbs are 921 bulbs. same as parking lights.

you wouldn't expect to use parking lights for seeing things around you now would you?

 

Maybe I'll put some HID's in there :D

 

HAHA! maybe it's a so. cali thing? i dunno, i guess i just always thought of them as being signaling lights like blinkers?
when i'm backing up i do the head turn thing and use my mirrors, but my break lights illuminate my way more than my reverse lights. i've been trying to pay attention to my RLs lately tho, heehee.
