LEDs in our 3rd brake light info for the techies

so why does our car come stock with only 6 LEDs?

cause the Scion wanted the best LEDs they could find.. but still keep it cost effective.. thus.. having bright leds, and less of them..

and becuase there's a product is already mass produced with those LEDs... and it was easy to just stick in in there.

it's all cost effiective stuff...

so anyone doing anything with the 3rd brake light.... heres the technical specs on it.

Some one want to explain the wiring diagram to me then?

What's the Diode for in the diagram? And why would there be two resistors?

Dang it, I guess I'll be buying more LED's now
