I return home today very disapointed, I went to Basic Sounds here in miami and they told me it was going to be nearly imposible to instal the train horns on my car. They said they can put these other once that wont be as loud but dam man, im so ____ing disapointed...

Well forsure im going to put some horns on my car, air horns with a compreser, I just need to see how many of the smaller once you can fit in the tC, the more horns the louder it will sound.

 

i'm thinking about hella supertones...

 

You can get Fiamm Freeway Blasters from Harbor Freight for 10 bucks each (Hi Tone and Lo Tone). Did mine about a month after I got the car, because the "toot toot" of the stock horn is just sad. The Freeway Blasters sound like an '80s Cadillac.

Not at all. It's a 15 minute job, at most.

It's the kind of horn tone that, when honked at unsuspecting business people in crosswalks, causes them to flinch to such a degree as to slosh latte out of their Starbucks Venti cups. Which makes my day. Every time I do it. :D

 

Well Ladies and Gents, were there is a will there is a way. I just got back from another shop, now these people are going to install some ____ing crazy ___ horns on my ride, the trick to it is that the horns or not restricted to a bracket they are actually separated, so they could be installed in different parts witch lets them fit any were on the car, and as for the compressor, they said they will put it on a bracket between the radiator and the front bumper.

 

what kind of store do you go to get these things from anyway? haha

Ladies And Gents I officially have the loudest tC in Miami right about now.
The video that fishingexpert87 has supplied us has been produced by the same company who made the horns who are now in my tC.

Thats the same company that made the horns that are now on my tC. Heres the exact kit I got on my car..

 

120 DB for 50 bucks and it nearly direct replacement. My buddy has them on his WRX and they are pretty loud
