those were the 6LED. I got rid of mine cause they were toooooo blue for me. Hoping these single polarized ones will be alot better!!!

I got mine from superbrightleds, If you have a light colored car like white or silver the LED will illuminate more of the license plate...but if you have a dark colored car expect the LED to illuminate just a portion of the license plate. I'm going to order the high powered LED and see what happens.

Thank you FLEA, Is this going to be Pure White like it says or is it going to have a little bit of the blue? I would like to have the one with the little bit of the blue because I want it to match the HID's I'm gonna get (eventually lol)

and how many should I get??

hey, is there an easier way to take out the socket..b/c my hands are a lil too big to fit in the hole...i looked in the manual and it has the most vague instuctions ever...

roffey- It should be the super bright white! Based on what I have seen there is no sign of blue..not a hint of it or anything.

ha-y-onscion- Try removing the socket with a crescent wrench. The passenger side of mine came out really easy..the driver side was a pain. I cut up my hands pretty bad and ended up using a wrench.

get pliers and then wrap a cloth around the bulb so that it wont scratch.. also turn it clockwise..

Are the blue LED plate lights legal? I use to have green plate lights on my old ride and got pulled over all the time. Let me know how often you guys get yanked!

yeah they are a bit bluer than i would like them to be (i want them white like the darn LED..lol)... thank goodness i havent got pulled yet *knocks on wood.
