Default light blubs for high beam

hi guys i'm new to the forum and I apologize if this is a double post. i've tried searching but didn't get any results. i might be searching incorrectly

i'm trying to get white blubs for my high beams to match my low beams and also something that will be evenly bright as my low beams, is this possible?

i just think when both low beam and high beam is on it looks so~ much nicer

any assistance is appreciated.

thanx

You can buy bulbs for your low/high that are the same color. This is most likely a repost, i don't feel like searching for it.

uhm...it doesn't really matter, you use your high beams on when there is nobody else in front of your car, so people shouldn't be looking at them.

i just got HID's installed on the high and the low, and i intentionally did 8000k low and 6000k for the high because the low beams will look nice and blue, and still have good light output, but the high beams will be more white and provide the greatest light output.

but your high and low beams are two different bulbs, one is 55 watts and the other is 65 watts, they are also different shaped bulbs with different housings, they won't look the same. also, the parking light that stays on in the low beam housing also plays a role.

but it is simple, to get the same color beam for high and low, get the same brand. like silver stars, or whatever. or you can do the 9005 bulb, into a 9006 socket mod.
