Dim Headlights
Hi Everyone,
I noticed a few days ago that my left side headlight was very dim on low beams...so I picked one up, which I haven't changed out yet. But last night, both low beams were extremely dim (not usable). High beams seem to work. What should I be looking for to fix it? Is it a bad ground? What area is most likely the issue? I'm wondering if this is a normal issue on these cars? Mine is a 2009 XD if it matters..
Thanks for any direction.....

its likely that the low beam filament in your bulbs has just burnt out and the reason it looks dim is because the small running light bulbs are all that is lighting up when on low beam.
the first stop on the headlight stalk is the running lights, the second is low beams. if there is no change in the lights between the two, you should just need new bulbs.
the high beams still work because they are on a second filament in the bulb and one failing doesn't mean that the other won't work anymore.
