Default Lights Wont Work!!

ok so i was messing around with my license plate lights and i decided to put some aluminum foil around the led that was on there cuz it wasnt sticking in too well. bad idea i heard a static shock noise and now my license plate lights, taillights, parking lights wont turn on at all.

i think it might be a blown fuse?? anyone know which fuse is the one that controls all those lights?? help please

it will be in the fuse box under the hood. i think the inside of it has a diaghram of the fuses and what they go to. just start pulling them out and see which ones is blown. the fuse box does have a few spare fuses in it, so hopefully it is one of those.

and remember this from now on, ALWAYS DISCONNECT YOUR BATTERY WHEN WORKING ON YOUR CAR!

Why would you stick a conductive object into an electrical socket?

Its ok dude take your time, get a beer and relax. I had an effin crap-tacular day today as well. Let me know if you find it tomorrow. If not take some needle nose pliers and pull the fuses out and check each one. No big deal. And I hope everything goes better for you.

Wrong. It's the instrument panel to the left of the steering wheel. Stick your head by the gas
pedal and look up. You'll see a cover on the right. Pop that off and there you go. It should be the 3rd
from the top. (10 A fuse.) If you ever mess with your tails, parking, license plate lights, and front side
makers; always take this fuse out first. Reinstall when you're finished.

As for the LED in the headlight, just use a wire hanger with some tape (stick side facing out). Press
it against the LED (the tape should stick to it), and pull it out slowly.
