it probably more around the range of 3yrs for the wait now. its kind of funny that umnitza apologized in the thread & then tried to sneak in a offer for slim hid ballast
(motorcycle ballast).

Dave BTW the lens cover of a 05 will fit on the 08 headlight but there will be a fogging issue. i found that out the hard way.

 

whats the cause of the fogging issue? is it cause how close the lense sits to the cover?

 

yea i laughed at that, sorry umnitza but i cant really take you serious after that comment. well i couldnt before then but thats besides teh point.

yeah thats exactly what i found out out. as soon as i switch the cover back to the 08 lens no fogging.

it could also be the projector rx330 i used and how it's dissipating heat.

come to think about it, going from an open halogen projector to sealed hid projector could be the issue b/c the heat is concentrated in a smaller area and doesn't have the free range to disperse. anyway that just a theory for now..back on topic

no it would go away if you opened it too all the water out, the reseal it the right way.
