k so today i was an idiot and scraped my front bumper pretty badly so that the lower grille came off. Its the 2008 lower grille btw. How do i push it back in, just with force? Ive kind of tried that, but it doesnt seem to be working. help please!

 

i haven't messed with the 08 lower grille but my guess would be it just clips in just like the older years... just look for some tabs that clips onto the bumper...

 

yup.. insert it in.. and yank outwards so it clips in.

 

yes i see the clips, but i cant even get the grille in far enough to get near the clips. SquallLHeart, i must be understanding you incorrectly because i also tried putting the whole grille inside by sliding it in sideways, then attempting to yank it out, but its too big

 

it's bigger.. of course...

the outer rim stays on the inside as the front bumper clips inside that lip of the grille.

 

im really sorry but i still dont understand. this is what im doing: im putting in the whole grille inside the hole, then im getting stuck because i cant pull out the grille to fit the clips. how can you pull something out of a hole thats bigger than it?

 

the grill has to be pushed on from the inside out.
for the lower grill, it might be easier just to take your bumper off.

u can put that grille inside...just tilt it and its inside...then like Trung said....from then align it and then pull out until it clips

 

you're not supposed to pull the grille out of the hole....

pull it outwards so it clips in.......

 

exactly.
if you keep the bumper on.
the grill needs to be inside of the bumper, then pull out towards your body.
if you try any other way your either gonna mess up your bumper or break the clips.
