Does anyone have any tips for putting it on? The OEM grille was cake to take but so far, it seems like its just too tight of a squeeze for the vrd tc grille.

I have a 2009 tc, maybe the grille size changed a bit?

 

No the size hasn't changed, maybe your trying to put the grill in upside down? I know mine was a little snug on bottom also but is should go in.

Take off the lower splash guards, maybe that will help you align it better.

 

You kinda have to tilt it and put the left side in first. all the way to the left then the rest of the grille will fit inside. Then snap it in place, starting with teh top clips.

Do you have a lip kit? If so, then it might pop out so I would use a thin strip of 3M tape on the top and bottom.

Take the bumper off and do it. I know it takes longer, but trust me, you will get a tight fit by being able to move it from the back. That's what I did when I had them, and I never had any problems with them.

 

Take the bumper off and snap the bottom parts on first..because the clips are bigger, I have problem getting mine on after I snap the top ones, which are small/skinner, but it fits tight after pushing it in. Use a flat head screw driver to help.
