You can just make some claim without anything to back it up. Why do you think they suck? Do you actually have a real reason, or is it just b/c they're not what you use?
I wouldn't say they suck but they aren't much better than stock in my opinion. I have had stockers, Silverstar, Nokya, and Luminics in my xB and the Luminics have been the best so far. They really brighten the road a lot more than the Sliverstars did. The Nokyas I had were just for fun. They were hyper yellow and they looked good and gave a little better vision at night than stock but the Luminics made the Nokyas look like flashlights. Anyway, sorry to get off topic. I have not had the pure blue but the UVs are awesome! I just saw that someone made a lame comment without backing it up and thought I'd chime in. Luminics makes great bulbs in my opinion.
I want to know if Luminics bulbs are DOT (Department of Transportation) certified? I know that SilverStar meet all US and Canadian requirements.
And please note that any bulbs, (not HID) that filters light to appear blue are decreasing the light’s intensity. So if you want better visibility, stick with the clear stock bulbs. But if you're going for the "COOL" factor change them out, but go with something that is DOT approved that way you’ll stay street legal.

For those complaining about Sylvania's... They may not be the brightest, but they are legal and extremely high in quality.
If you want OEM quality but a slightly brighter bulb, buy Koito. it's what my tC uses and they look amazing. Pure white with a slight hind of blue (4300K equivelant), OEM fitment and reliability.
Pick them up at optauto.com or PM me and I can get them for you. I order some stuff through them at cost so I can get anything that site can get.
Definately the best bulb I've used. (I've used Eurolite, Redline, PIAA, HKS, and Razo on multiple cars).
Link to buy...$68 plus shipping.

All of you singing the praises of silverstars. I'll see you in a few months when your bulbs burn out and you have to shell out another 40-50 bucks. Speaking as someone who has had silverstars, seen luminics, and is currently running an 80 watt hyperwhite halogen, You really need to compare lights in person. Silverstars are whiter then stock but the truth is the stock ones offer better visability. I thought my silverstars were the coolest untill They burnt out on me twice in six months and I tried something new. I've got buddies with luminics and they look great but they've told me that visability isn't that great. The truth is when lights are tinted they do reduce visability. The answer is to get a bulb that is actually brighter - more watts. The bulbs i run are 80 watt with xenon gas in bulb and they are as close to HID as I've seen on the road. When I drive I can clearly see a white road in front of me, almost like day light. They have special technology that prevents electric issues like melting or short circuiting and they were cheaper than the luminics and the silverstars. PIAA has a 95% xenon bulb which is 55 watt and claims to perform like 80 watts. This seems like the safer way to go and i am considering, but they are about 85$ a pair. just my$ .02

The Razos actually weren't that bad. They def hold up longer than the PIAAs.
Speaking from experience...
I have ran silverstars, philips vision plus i believe, mtec 80 and 55 watter, some lame 80 watt eurodezigns bulbs and of course the stockers. I have yet to see a high wattage blue coated bulb to perform as well or beyond a stock halogen. I have even tried running an upgraded relay harness, still no improvement. Best advice I can give you guys running the H4's is getting some E-code Osram silverstars(clear bulb).
o btw, i have read numerous responses that the silverstars have short lifespan. I have been runing my 9007 silverstars for almost 1.5 years without a problem.

looks good! now if someone had a comparison wallshot of silverstars VS pure blues...
in reply to the DOT statement... yes a cop WILL pull you over for blue bulbs. The first day i got rice bulbs on my teg when I was 16, i got pulled over and a cop explained to me that the bulbs were illegel. My dumbass made fun of the cop thinking he knew nothing. boy was I wrong...
I dont see how the pure blues pass the DOT requirements?? we need a confirmation from Luminics i guess...
