North American Silverstars suck, European clear glass ones are FAR FAR better.

Really popular with the Porsche club.
+1 I have the Osram Silverstars in my WRX. Nothing is better.

sylvania silverstars do not necessarily suck. It's just a trade off of output for color when comparing to osram. To each his own, i just like the fact that they are pure white with NO hint of rice blue.

ohh damn. we just installed the luminics pure blue in my friend's isuzu rodeo. they are really blue! and i highly doubt they are DOT approved. it doesn't say anywhere on the box that it is. these look almost exactly to the blue HID's you see.

Well i don't have any pics at the moment...but i have luminics UV Lows and JDM Yellow Highs...I am extremely happy with the yellows. The UV's look very nice, not ricey at all (such as anything blue :-)). The UV's i don't think are quite as bright as stock, but the yellows for the highs are much brighter. As far as the company goes, i've had no problems with the bulbs or anything else for that matter when ordering them.

I find it hilarious how people refer to blue lights as "rice", since they're for show and not a true increase in light output, yet the bulbs they use are still coated, and therefore still reduce light output compared to an uncoated halogen bulb. I think some people try too damn hard not to be “rice” because they don’t want other so called “tuners” to consider them rice, instead of just doing their own thing. But, eh, to each his own. This isn't directed to anyone in particular here, just an observation.

haha i dont think its just Hawaii. we drove up to the azusa canyon by my house and on the way there we passed a cop on the opposite side of the road. the cop literally turned his head/body all the way around, but he didn't pull a u-turn... just gave us the stare. but anyways, we went up to the canyon to test out the visibility (pretty dark, no street lights). i would have to say that the visibility is about the same, maybe a little less than stock bulbs.... the only thing is that we were distracted by how blue the road was instead of paying attention to the road itself. i might get them for my tc soon. :D

Default Luminics

Yes they are extremely blue. We where attempting to get as close to the HID look as possible without having to pay the $400-$2000 hid price. These bulbs have only been out for roughly 2 weeks but we have not received anyone saying that they where dim at all. We actually had a SE member test them out before we launched them and he stated he projected further. I personally was daily driving with them on my integra and I loved them.

all bulbs come with a full 1 year warranty.
