Do the luminics 9006 9005 bulbs work safe;y with our tc's???

they're at a different wattage than what the maual says..

luminics- 55W both 9006 9005

manual- 51W for 9006
60 W for 9005

 

yes, they will work.

 

yes, i assume they will work.. but my question is mainly conerned about the wattage issue..

Generally you don't have to worry unless they're more than 15-20 or so watts higher than rated. Anything above that starts getting sketchy. I bought a pair of 100W H1 bulbs for some projetors I had for a Civic I had a while ago to go in my aftermarket projector headlights and I cracked one of my projectors having the light on for only a few seconds. I got out of the car to see what they looked like after turning them on and got back in and turned them off. Checked the housings for heat and noticed one of the projector lenses was cracked. They got SUPER hot.

You shouldn't have any problem with any 60-70W bulbs though.

 

Yes so far they work great..............Im rockin the JDM yellow Headlights from them, no problems yet.

 

i got my hyper whites the other day. i love em and have had no problems.
