I've had my car for about 3 months, and already I'm noticing that my lip kit is getting chips in it. Has anyone installed the OEM mud flaps with the OEM lip kit, or is it physically impossible? If it's possible, would it look silly? I saw a car on here with the RS kit, and he had the mud flaps on there. I believe it was DAKINE.

 

anything is possible. just have an idea of how it should look like.

 

 

I like the way it looks on your car. Do they attach to the lip of the bumper, or did you have to drill into the kit as well?

 

I think I just goes into the bumper cover. I'm pretty sure the lip would have to go "on top" of the flap attach point.

You do need to drill a few holes in the fender boundary on the back... but its not a big deal. I "drilled" using a screwdriver and the included screws.

 

i just taped my mud flaps in and put the bottom screw in. Been months now and they hold up like champs!

Dakine, are your flaps OEM?

 

yeap OEM. i just marked it while i was holding it against the kit and marked up the cut.

 

they protect pretty good from chips?
