Mudguards installed *pics pg.2*
They actually removed the rear quarter glass and then put it back in - not centered proberly of course! Now it has an uneven boarder gap and the door seal doesn't touch it properly on the front edge - needs to move forward about 1/8 of an inch.
When they sprayed the white paint on the side quarter panel and around the window some got on the roof making it dull over a 2 foot area of the roof. You can't really see it in a photo since it is white on white but you can feel it. Looks like it is dusty but it is dried on and will not come off easy. It is really hard to even see it unless you look down the roof from in front at the reflection and then you see the dull area. The inside of the rear hatch near the lift shock is also flat white with some drips instead of gloss which really stinks because it is at eye level. I have not started on that yet.
^ yeh I know what you're talking about.. I've seen a few custom cars where there were minor areas like that. I wouldnt begin to know to help you with that cause paint isnt my forte, but hopefully it ends well..
So I just finished wetsanding my mudguards and used some Mothers polish and a clean white t-shirt to buff it out... all in all it seemed to do the trick. The metallic paint is now visible and the finish has a nice glossy shine. XD thanks to all that chipped in my postings. I'll have pics later when I install them.
btw.. how long should I wait before a put a good coat of wax on it to protect the paint?

I would say when the surface gets hard enough and stops smelling then it would be ok to polish them with some wax . . .although I find that wax doesn't stick to Toyota paint and I use a polymer polish called RejeX.
As far as your roof goes bro.....just use the clay bar kit. My friend sprayed painted his interior and the dust from the paint got on his car cause he didn't move his car away from the area he was painting and all we did was clay bar and it came out smooth and shiny as new........let me us know how that works for you
^ that's what I was thinking. before, I thought you meant they got it on the glass. But try the clay bar route, and if all else fails, switch your insurance over to a 0 deductible, throw rocks at it, call it hail damage and just get it all fixed

It was the first time I did it, too & I won't lie - I feared for my life cuz I was scared I was going to kill his car but I was SO happy with the outcome.
p.s. claying it won't work if it's overspray, trust.
& if you decide to do the wetsanding like I did, take your time.
