Now you're going to think I'm CRAZY for saying this....but my friend had the same problem with his xB. He parked in a parking lot where they painted a textured finish on a wall & it got overspray ALL over his xB, it was HORRIBLE. I wet sanded his entire car with 1000 grit & then 2000, then polished the car & waxed it. When I returned the car to him, he said it felt smoother than when he bought the car brand new.

It was the first time I did it, too & I won't lie - I feared for my life cuz I was scared I was going to kill his car but I was SO happy with the outcome.

p.s. claying it won't work if it's overspray, trust.

& if you decide to do the wetsanding like I did, take your time.
Polished it with RejeX and then with 1000 grit and water lightly sanded it - I could feel it getting smooth. The real trick is to stop sanding the overspray high spots that stick through the polish before you sand through the polish, then there is almost no buffing needed. I went a little too far for that on the second panel in where the spray was heavy but it all buffed out nice and smooth afterwards. Then I felt more overspray further up the roof . . . will save that for the next time. Looks great now - like a mirror.

Thanks Kiss Kiss Kill!
