Ya, I'm curious as to how the stockies were a problem in this? Are the tires bald??

The stocks werent a problem. i meant that if i had the 20's on the car, then my bro wouldn't have been able to take it out of town. I also found out that the brakes locked up on him. The bottom treads of the two front wheels were bald due to skidding down the road. maybe if it would've had an abs system, it could've been avoidable. oh well

Doesn't ABS a standard feature in a tC?

Ya, maybe that is something you could bring up to Toyota?? Why didn't it work. Had it worked, would this all have been avoidable? Or was it just too close?

Either a BMW 335i sedan, 330i sedan, or 328 i sedan. Depends on how much the insurance check is. www.e90post.com here i come!!!

Personally I think BMWs are overpriced for what you get. If I'm going to buy a luxury car, I don't want to have to pay EXTRA for things that would normally come STANDARD on a luxury car. I would rather get an Acura. BMW in my opinion is a waste of money. Oh, and if ANYTHING breaks on a BMW....do you know just how stupidly expensive everything is?? Parts are horridly expensive and overpriced. Not worth it to me. And if you plan on modding it.....aftermarket parts are even more overpriced!

Considering the story, I would say that ABS would not have prevented anything here. ABS adds distance to your stop time, but allows you to keep better control of the car to swerve. But it sounds here like swerving was a worse option. But if it was raining, then ABS might have helped a bit, but at best it would have done slightly less damage...but only slightly.
