You could have gone with a lower seating wing since the tC is a fast back, and the clean air is not so up high. But at least it's a lot more functional than the pedestal spoiler and lip spoiler, which does absolutely nothing. The lip might even create more lift, since it will force air to pass around it a bit faster. Match that with an APR front air splitter and maybe some canards, and at least you'll be on your way towards reducing lift, and giving your car some highway stability.

And BTW as far as I'm concerned if it does not improve performance, if it hinders performance, if it's just there only because it looks good, and if it's just there only because it sounds good, then it's R-I-C-E.
