You got 8k HIDs to be...brighter...? Higher the Kelvin (K) rating, lower the lumen output (brightness).

Isn't it illegal for him to camp out in front of your house and wait for you to leave to pull you over?

the reason why tints on headlights and stop lights are illegal because of the reflector inside your headlight is not clearly visible (you know, those amber reflector that most people LOVE to change them into clear...). if you put a tint on them, thus rendering their purpose of reflecting light back. HID's are also illegal on a non-HID equipped car. as for the tint for the front windows, check with your state law. in CA, any tint in front windows are illegal.

i would say, take off those tints on your headlights and just roll down your windows for now. if he pulls you over due to that, then you are bound to be pulled over. as for your HID, try to aim your headlight a little bit lower or change to a lower Kelvin, like 6K? i believe 8K has a hint of blue on them? im not sure but i just stick with 6K.

that tint is too dark in ANY state. I don't have to read any laws to know that. if you had a light tint you may have a fighting chance. but that is just a ticket that you were waiting to get.

you may as well take them off. you may not be driving the can now, but you will whenever you go home.

btw, what school are you going to?

you probably just ran into the "wrong" cop. i quoted 'wrong' b/c he was actually in the right. and on top of that you only got a warning.

it sounds to me like you're not taking on the responsibility that you should be though.

btw, what school are you going to?
