anyone ever put neon in the licenceplate light in the back of ur car? im looking for a red bulb anyone know what size it is and if it can be done. my car is bieng based off a red neon theme . red interier.parkinglights.underglow.ect ect

it is illegal to have red, you will get pulled over.

 

i dont plan on having my neon on during driving.

and im sure u mean my parking lights my bad didnt put 2 and 2 together. and i drive with them on all the time just to see if i get ____ for them and nothings happend yet. just a few flashes from other drivers cause i dont have my lights on haha

naahh bulbs ur right i just dont know what size like a 168 or 194 is for parkinglights i just dont now what size for licenceplate

you will get pulled over with red license plate lights and if your driving at night with only your red parking lights then you will get pulled over as well. best thing to do is just leave the red license plate lights alone and save yourself from getting pulled over and for the front drive with your low beam on...not worth getting a ticket over lights that you don't need to have red lights unless you are at a show and can turn them off after.

 

wel there parking lights so im not gonna install a switch on them i guess ill just drive with my lowbeams onlike ya said

 

ok but still don't get the red license plate lights unless you plan on getting pulled over, i have a red theme as well and know what you mean by wanting more red but just don't do the license plate lights.

 

you're gonna get crap for having red lights, especially in the headlights, and license plate bulbs.

stick to white. plus red back there would look stupid

Funny I was just talking to a police officer yesterday at a show, and he was telling me how it actually isnt illegal at least in massachusetts to have red or blue bulbs on the exterior of your car, they just cant be flashing. He did say cops will still pull you over and give you crap for them, but where there not flashing he said you are set. I believe him cause he's the police officer. Still though I wouldnt do it, save yourself the hassle from getting pulled over.
