New bulbs..
I was thinking about getting some brighter bulbs. No hid's because I dont wanna get stoped around here. Maybe something easy to install and not to bright that it'll blind people because I hate when they get right up on my tail and blind me. Also for installation..Its just taking off the front bumper and taking off the head lights? Theres no baking to extract the bulbs right?

If you're just replacing the bulbs, all you have to do is pop the hood and reach behind. Twist and pull.
As for bulbs... I still like my Silverstars. Some people have Luminics but there have been numerous complaints about fried harnesses (though not everyone). And they say you can buy an adapter to prevent that, but why bother?
Silverstars can be had at most car parts stores, and run about $40 a set.

If you listen to a lot of people, you'll end up with what some perceive as cooler bulbs, but they're not as bright. If you're into the blue/purple look, there are a lot of bulbs that do that - some will fry your harnesses.
I've got the GP Thunders and have tried others - none are as bright as the stockers or the Silverstars. If you want bright - stick with stock or try the Silverstars.
If you want blue/violet, try another make, but be sure not to overload your wiring by buying high-wattage bulbs.
You've been duly warned!

So basiclly stock and silverstrs are the only ones that dont or wont be a worry about frying anything? Im looking for a light bluish color as seen in the pic above. Not really into purple.. Are there any other types that dont fry anything?

Luminics Titanium White. I got those along with the heavy duty wire harness! I love them! I get alot of compliments about my "HID Kit". Thats what people think i have! I wouldn't change them for nothing! Alot of people's harness have fried but if you get the harness that they have you'll be good!
Silverstars IMO dont look no different from stock? Not bring either. Mine are bright as hell! I had my GF drive it down the street and it looke freaking sweet! You wont be dissapointed! That pics almost looks similar.

Just read about Luminics Hyper white.
Info for all..
TC's model for luminics hyper whites are 9006 bulbs. Those are the ones im gonna order. As said above, those are a little too expensive. I'll stick with the hyper whites. thanks tho.

For the price, you just can't beat SilverStars. I've had them on my tC for about 8 months now with no problems to report. Whiter & brighter than stock IMHO. Whatever bulbs you get just remember one rule: DO NOT TOUCH THE NEW BULBS WITH YOUR BARE HANDS! The oils on your hands/fingertips can create 'hot spots' on the bulbs which could cause your bulb(s) to burn-out faster. Just use latex gloves or a sock (on your hand, weirdo! ) to change your bulbs. Although its not nighttime in the pic, here's a shot of the SilverStars on my tC...
Of course, they look much better at night.
