Well, after having a dented in trunk for the past 2 and a half years, I finally got around to ordering a new trunk. I ordered a Seibon C/F trunk from Hop-Up Racing today. Whoot!! Now I just have to wait till next July to get back home and see it and get it installed. I can't wait. Yay for carbon fiber!

Dont see why you would want to paint over CF. Make sure you have it clear coated!!!

 

on a black car carbon dosent always look good, also makes for a target of theft

 

Leaving it exposed. Since I live on a military post, I'm not to worried about getting it stolen. All the BSP tC's with a C/F trunk I've seen look sick with it. :-D

 

i like the carbon fiber look but i know ill get lazy every now and then and neglect clear coating it. if i ever get a carbon fiber trunk or hood i would paint it black or the same color as the car.
