Title says it all. I just bought the APT fogs today, now I'm looking to get replacement yellow bulbs for it. I had the PIAA Ion Yellow H3 in my Sentra for fog lights. They had an odd yellow color but were super bright. I'm just trying to get the opinion of y'all who have the Nokya's.

Which is brighter/more yellow/better bulb for the value?

I tried searching, but couldn't find a thread with a comparison on the two. Any help is appreciated!

Also, I don't want to tint the fogs yellow, maybe just a clear overlay for protection, I'm just not feeling the yellow overlay.

 

I have the nokyas 2500k and there pretty yellow and def bright

 

yea get the nokya yellow ones for the apt fogs,i just ordered some bulbs also

never had the nokya's but did have the piaa's...like u said they had a very weird yellow color so if i go back to yellow, it will be the nokyas

Thanks for the input guys. Now, noob question, do the bulbs need to have the 'additional wire harness' that costs like $12-14 extra bucks when purchasing?

if you have the APT fog lights, no you don't its just plug and play. remove the ones that come in stock with the nokya and just connect them

You're talking about a relay harness, but that is only needed when you have HID's. I had Nokya bulbs in my first foglight, they are pretty decent.

 

I've had both the piaa and nokya. I would never go back to the piaa. In my opinion the light out is pretty much the same but the yellow is much better in nokya. A cleaner brighter yellow.

How long have the Nokya bulbs lasted for you guys?

 

ive had the nokyas in my vrd's since i got em which is about 6 months...still goin strong

 

mine have lasted over 2 years

 

my nokyas burned out after like 3 months...switched to the piaa ion yellow...doesnt look as yellow but they are real bright and outlasted my nokyas...

 

arent piaa's astronomically overpriced
