Non LED blue parking light...
Ok, so I've seen various questions asked regarding these parking lights, but not the following...
Anyway, I used to have some blue LED lights for my parking lights (from SuperBrightLEDs.com) and, well, heard about the heat causing them to fail. So I took them out and went to Wal-Mart and bought what they claimed were blue... I guess halogen... small 194 lights. Turns out they were practically green.
So, I know there has to be someone on here that has blue, NON-LED 194 bulbs in their parking lights that do infact glow BLUE, not green. So I just want to know where you got them.
Thanks.

u can get one from
www.nopionline.com
PIAA 168 Wedge Super Plasma Blue Twin Pack
its about $10, and shipping cost about $10.. total $20
but, I don't find it bright enough,
it gives like darkblue-purple feel.
u can't see it when its day time, even when it got darker,
u can see it when is dark... or right before it gets really dark.. but by the time... u need to turn the headlight on , so blue parking light is useless to me.
it looks good though.

i got some from pepboys. though they arent LED's, they blue actually came out a funky teal. i say if you want blue in your headlights, get the single LEDS, thats what i have been using for 2 months and have no problems =].

yeah.. i remember those wal-mart bulbs... it was a yucky green.
Polarg is a brand i know that makes some nice blue non-LED bulbs.. some of them glow a nice white, but i think they do have one that had a blue color to it too, I think.
LED bulbs do work, but you would have to find one that can withstand the heat. Varad makes some that i've heard no problems with, and some other companies too (i think PIAA, also)

I picked mine up at AutoZone for $2.99. Here's a pic (they are green)...

Blazer Xtreme Lights. Had them in for over a year, ZERO problems! And NO!!! I don't drive with just the parking lights on!

Varad 194 3LED

PIAA Extreme White

Both from www.cardomain.com, expensive little bulbs but well worth it.
