I was looking around my 08 tC the other day and I noticed a little light bulb near the bottom of the high beam. It only goes on when I turn on the headlamps so I know its not drl. Is it a "projector helper" (so you can see the signs on top of the highway and etc.)?

 

thats your "running lamps" on 05-07 models they were on the low beam housing. they had to move it to the high beam on 08 models because of the projectors.

 

running lamps = parking lights
