ny plates
from what i know youre allowed to keep the old white and blue if you have it. but i think i heard somewhere you can buy peoples plates. I was wondering if i "bought" my moms white and blue plates and she "bought" my gold and blue ones.
They are actually blue and gold not orange.Thats how the plates used to look back in the day(70's & early 80's).Their is also 3 plates that NY has the blue & gold(Empire Gold Plates), the old blue and white ones, and Blue Banner Plates

It was going to be mandatory to turn in the blue and white ones, but it no longer is.

First off, no you are not allowed to. Secondly, if you really want to cry about the color of your plates, then you need to stop driving. Consult your local DMV for specifics like anyone with common sense would do.
its ok guy the ny plate arnt as bad as the new maryland plate there horrible they look like ww2 veteran plates (no offense to veterans) just i like a nice clean plate not one with stuff bashed on it.but on the good side i got the old ones.... but all my friends hate them too so its ok heres a link
