Default odd question...need help

Hi this may seem kinda weird i don't know what the proper terminology is but you know the rubber part that surrounds teh window of the tc? the black outline that surrounds the glass....well my rear window i don't know how but the rubbere part is scratched...i was wondering if there was any thing you can use like rubber polish (if that exists)? to get it out....any suggestions would be awesome!!! thanks...

I have the same problem on the rubber around the small window on the passenger side, dunno how that scratch got there but its been atleast 10 months and still not gone. I don't really want to try "test" any products on it for fear of it discoloring it even more.

You mean the molding? Some guy came by complaining about it so I took flat black paint by stoneguard and spraid it on a piece of paper. Then I dipped a rag in it but just so that it stains the rag and then i rubbed the whole side of the molding in it so its like all faded. You have to fade the paint with the existing color. If its a deep scratch then I dont know, Fill it up with a glue or something then do what I said.

If you're really bothered, how about replacing it?

I don't think you'll get raped in a junkyard for that. And if you really wanna get new ones, get it off the dealership and get yourself raped. LOL! jk.
