Default OE Fogs+HID's+relays=bag of suck.

Alright i bought an OE Fog light kit w/HID's plugged everything in and....nothing

Plugged the relay positive wire to the batter(i think thats right).

I check the relays and their good. Used that light checker thing and the relay still clicks.

I followed the Instructions from TRD sparks for the OE part.

I even tried doing it without the relay and still nothing.

Inside the cabin the switch lights up but when i press it its a no go.

However when i switch the positive wire into a diff power slot on the relay, they fire up but stay on with or without the car on. So im guessing im just wiring them directly to the battery there.

So any help please?? atleast a diagram of how to hook up the relay cables to the relay?

Thanks guys(and or girls)!

P.s. and yess i did search...for the past 3 hrs.

Make sure that the wires going into the stock harness are matched correctly, I had a set that the positive and negative were backwards and I had to switch them around...

anyway, ok i ripped out the relay and just went with the stock harness and it worked.

just had to cut off the old exposed wire(wasnt picking anything up) and reconeccted them.

gahhh.

and turns out one of the ballast took a crap.

Thanks guys.

hm...you probably wouldn't want them. I'm not just going to sell one ballast. I paid $120 for them and, considering that I've only had them for two weeks, I'd probably only sell them for $100. Idk, sorry. Hidextra is very good, and they are selling theres for $60 with the scionlife coupon code. You should check em out!
