Unhappy oem 08 projector lens swap w/ tsx-r ?Question?

I just recently got some oem 08 projector headlights for my 07 tc. I was wondering if i could buy some tsx-r Lens from

http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...caf3b674470121

for my projectors to give more of a crisp cut off with the color on top of the cut off.

So basicly will it fit? If someone has did em, mind posting pics or anything?

Is it worth it?

i dont think you can swap the lens on stock oem 08 projectors, again im not sure.
I remember the stock projectors dont have a globe projector like the tsx. the 08 projectors were just a lens on a bracket no enclosed globe.

ive done a retrofit on 08 projectors by swapping the TSX projectors inside the 08 headlights. I think you should just buy some projectors and get rid of the crap inside the 08 projectors and swap it with quality projectors. Might as well its pretty easy just get screws, nuts, and a dremel. the d2s bulbs, ballast( i recommend a high end one) and harness. then cut your holes and mount the projectors on the existing bracket. But get a projector that will fit 2.5 lens and some thing similar to tsx style of make so its easy to do the mounting. trust me youll love it. i did but sold mine recently i miss them alot.

^x2, just do a retro if your going to open them up. no sense on swapping out the lens. it might help SOME but depending on the size of the TSX-r and the stock lens, it could throw it off.

if you have the cash, buy the low beam stage III or IV kit.

changing the lens is pointless as it is pointed out. You may get a little improvement but but still not crisp clean cutoff and wide like a real projector since its only a halogen projector.

Brackets are provided and no drilling. Just unscrew and screw on the Morimoto projectors.

I retrofitted my 08 with TSX projectors. All you need to do is drill new holes. Probably the easiest retrofit. Search hard enough you can find a few threads with others who have done 08 with TSX projectors.

Since I can get a pair of TSX-R lenses for $10, I'm not going to be $300 on a kit made for complete idiots. O.o I just want to know if the size of the two is the same and if they are interchangeable.
