Anyone else's CCFL halos act up when the temperature gets cold? Mine turn pink when the car's been sitting overnight when winter comes around.

my white ones do that all the time in the cold weather. Once the car warms up they are bright white again though

Hey guys check out this LED kit here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SCION...item3efff9851f

I requested more pics from the seller and they provided me a website with their pics, i can tell you that this kit looks pretty good. I like the fact that you can clearly see that fitment is very on point and that instead just few few LED's like on old LED kits this does have multiple LED's and each one of them light up.

I will be getting this kit in few month that will go with my retrofit in october.

170 shipped? Kinda pricey, but I do like the fact that their Angel Eyes don't require ballasts/inverters! I'll keep this in mind when I do my retro-fitting

well they do have an option of "best offer". I looked at their feedback and they sold similar LED kit for EVO X at $109. I'm planning on giving them an offer of $100-$120 and see where it goes from there.

I got these about a month ago and I couldn't be happier. Read all the cons about CCFL's and these LED rings solve all those problems. I wanted some bright rings, even during the day, and these rings are super bright. There's no flickering, no color change in temperature, no ballast, no inverters, and no flimsy glass rings that break when you talk too loud. Installation was pretty much what the 2nd Umnitza DIY is, except you skip all the mounting the ballast and inverter part and go straight to wiring the positive and negative wires.

If you've been thinking about getting these rings, you should. The seller lives right here in the US, so you don't have to worry about dealing with some foreign people that don't speak English. My email conversation with him consists of 31 emails, most of it was us discussion which color to paint the rings-which is what he offers when you buy the rings.

Here are some shots during the day around 5 PM, and at dusk 7:30 PM.

The LED's are soldered on a custom made circuit board that's not bendable. Only fits 05-07 tC's.

the LEDs in that ebay thread are relatively cheaply made, that's why you have only a 1 year warranty offered with them. They are pretty easy to get and also fail pretty regularly when one LED dies. Not saying they are bad overall, but the initial impressions are great but after many years of working with LED, we found that these are a bad alternative.

That's why we offer the Orion V2 kit - lifetime warranty - even if you get into an accident, we will replace them.

Does anybody know who makes a good set of halos for the 08-09 headlights? Please do not suggest Umnitza I've emailed them and PMed them several times.

don't be immature with the icons, there is no need for that.

If you didn't get a reply to an email we probably didn't receive it.
Feel free to call us any time M-F 10am-5pm or email us to info@Umnitza.com or use our contact us page.

We don't get notifications for PMs so that may also be an issue but we do welcome your emails and always reply to any we receive.
