nah the 07 color is girly.......SCM is a sweet color,on a car done right with a good polish and wax int he sun the color is deep and clean and beautiful......I love the white tCs a lot cause the color really pulls out the body lines nicely but SCM is going to be one of the rare colors that we are going to be glad we got one day.

thanks.........in about 45 days the car will go though the next step....5Axis kit going on.......and the cloth panels ont he doors and the rear panels will be glassed over, the rear speaker grills will be deleted and the four panels will be painted exterior color......I figure every one suedes them, but no one has painted them......

Then the subs are gonna be turned around and ran infinate baffle and the spiders will be painted interior color......

Last but not least for the interior the Clazzio 5Axis covers will go in......but with a twist from Troy for us...........

Next year the brakes and coils will go in........and Viniati spoiler in CF will go on......

Year after I am seriously thinking Advan vers 2 for a big upgrade to the wheels........gonna be a lot of Ramen in my future to get those.......lol

I forgot.........hoping this winter I make enough extra money......but gonna put Nitrous on the car, found a Zex kit for cheap.......probably will never use as my wife will never goto the track withthe car,but for shows it will be fun to purge, plus it will be fun to play with Honda Fan Boys at stop lights........lol

It is a fairly cheap mod that gets big points at shows and will be something fun and new to do......never hooked one up before so it is gonna be a challenge to do,I got one guy who has it on his tC here so I can copy what the shop did to install his pretty much.

Here's my 08 SCM. I just recently started thinking about doing some mods. I got the TRD/APT ebay fogs put in this past weekend. Looking at buying an s2k antenna, some vinyl overlays for the fogs, new grill and maybe de-badge. It's all small mods now because im pretty much broke. Any other cheap mod ideas?

well a cheap and honestly the best mod out there is to get springs and drop it.

hit up your local area on Scion Life and find a person who has done it and buy them some beer and pizza to help........it is like a4-6 hour job and fun to do.....Autozone rents spring compressors for $40 and refund it all back when you return so free tool.

you will need a basic 1/2"drive socket metric set form 10mm-24mm

Allen wrench set in metric

and an off set box end 17mm wrench whcih has 17a nd 19 mm on it,that is how to take off the top nut the easiest.....and a 14mm wrench.....

Best mod for atC out there........

take your time.......my car has taken 2 years and a month to get this far.......spent a lot of money........even more time doing all the work myself.....which saved a lot of money........enjoy the car......they are great cars......

Thanks for your advice..i was thinking about dropping it a little bit but i'm not sure how well that would work out in CT with this rocky/mountainous terrain. And im not the most cautious driver either lol

I love my trds, keeps the good ride quality but doesnt drop it so low that you have to be super careful all the time. Htechs are good too, since they are alittle bit lower but not much more.
