I have a lot of faith in the trd testing process. I know that they have to maintain a high level product. The warentee is in taked with trd

and well Toyota is Quality

I think most (if not all) TRD products are made by other companies. At least that's what I've gathered from my reading on SL.

I have more faith in Injen than Toyota when it comes to a part like an intake. Injen specializes in this stuff and has a reputation for top-notch quality.

I agree with both of you.

Isn't that why toyota would have injen make or rebrand the injen product

why reinvent the wheel when you can let the best do it .... aply a sticker and add a 100

I drove a 90 corolla for 8 years and then I had a 01 is 300. growing up my parents almost always had a yota. cressida lexus etc

toyota is a briniant marketing company.

When they wanted to make a +50k they created lexus so that the rich could say ...

I think where they really messed up is trying to be the most technological car company. All that electronic stuff and there quality went down the crapper. Issues upon issues upon isses.

Hope you don't mind me going on a tangent.

The scion concept is brilliant.

Toyota say what was happening with the civic comunitee and say that honda was doing nothing to feed it.

SO the created a product that targeted tuners and they modelled the entire thing after the brand loyalty that Harley Davidson has.............

look at us, we are on scions "virtual community"

The rest of the car compnaies just don't seem to get it....

I mean scion is getting young people to become loyal. What's better then that. the kids grow up and buy a camry when they have kids, then a lex when they are 40 or 50.

Get them while they are young.

Honda dropped the ball ... the civic thing... they were sitting on a gold mine. and then they made that si hatch back that they us popilation just hadn't gotten a taste for yet

Not really. I don't know if this is true of all states, but in California, all new cars come with a big prominent window sticker which informs you that your new car will give you cancer.
