Default Opinion on toyotas paint job

Someone hit the side of my car knocking the mirror off and messing up the drivers door which had to be repainted.. When I get the car back the colors didn't match at all.. According to toyota the reason for the difference is that the metallic flake in the sizzling crimson paint didn't lay right so it appears lighter.. My thoughts are they painted it the black cherry color of the 07 and older, reason being every time they called me they referred to it as an 07 instead of an 08 but they swear they go by the paint code.. Thoughts as to which theory may be correct?

From the picture that looks like BCP. I'd take it back and tell them if they want to avoid a call to Toyota Corp. then they need to redo it.

Yea thats WAY off, it actually does look alot like BCP on the door and fender. Who the hell did this paint job??? I dont know a single body shop that would let a car leave looking like that

The A pillar looks a lot darker. Maybe it's just the lighting though. If you aren't happy with it, they should re-do it for you at no cost. When my car got hit, the dealer's body shop told me I have a life time warranty on their work.

Take that crap back, don't take no for an answer and if they give you a hard time, ask for the number for the corporate office. Clearly a different color all together.
