kami's website says 595 for the hood so that means 210 for shipping?

kami hood is awesome.......mine fit perfect.....except they put the wrong hood latch on it.......so i modded the catch and it was good to go.

also what is nice is not everyone has it in my area.....in fact no one has it but me.....so it is nice to not look like everyone else.....

and mine is autographed by Ken Gushi.... man he is soo cool......

the Seibons hoods are great as well though......well made and in some ways better....the under side is made cleaner on my buddies than mine is......mine is a little scratched right from the factory......but cool none the less......and his came with washer holes already in it.......mine did not......paint to make them and get them perfect......took longer than the hood removal and install.

Actually, that's what I like about the Kami hood, that it doesn't have the washer nozzle holes. I think a hood without them looks much cleaner. I know it has little indents if you want to drill them out, but they aren't very noticeable.

I had the same issue with Showstoppers. I was told a minimum turn around time of 2 weeks. After multiple phone calls to the freight company, Kaminari, and Showstoppers for a good 3 weeks AFTER the 2 week deadline, none of them had a clue what was going on. Ended up taking a month and a half to arrive. Which, by then, I had moved 3 states away. My old roommate is holding onto it until I can make the trip (12 hour drive) back to pick it up. NOT an enjoyable business transaction with Showstoppers at all.

At least the hood was sent, and you know where it is now. The money was already taken out of my account, so I'm hoping that the order was placed with Kami.

They offer the hood in fiberglass, but I would imagine you would have to have it painted.

So I received the hood...it's the most gorgeous thing ever! For those of you that have it, did you clear coat it? If not, has it faded at all? Also, when it rains, how much water gets into the engine bay, if any?
