Default Oznium hid install?

I need some help. I'm getting ready to install my Oznium hid kit but I have a question. The braided wires that are with the bulb has two gold connectors on them, is that what plugs into the stock wiring harness? I was expecting a snap-in, waterproof plug.
Can anyone clarify or show me some pics of your install?

After several emails to Oznium and a quick reference pic, we determined that the wiring with the 2 prongs are not needed for a Tc install.
Wire #1 connects to the stock wiring harness.
Connection #3 ,which includes 2 seperate connectors, if for connecting the bulb to the ballast.
Wire #2 is not used.
I went out to the Tc and tested this out, worked perfectly!
I had read several posts with people saying they used the gold prongs, which was really confusing me.
Hope this can clear things up for anyone else that may have run into this.

Now if you can somehow figure out how to adjust the aim, you're set. I have a set of these but the aim is low, even after adjusting.

I switched back to halogens because the light output was horrible.

The kit runs $235 and is completely plug & play. I was using SilverStars before this. The light output is obviously better, they are a nice crisp white with a hint of blue when looking at them. When you are driving all you see is white light though.
The camera seems to pick up more of the blue than you actually see in person.

6k hid vs. SilverStar

how are the hot spots with this kit? I tried running an HID kit when I had my benz and the lighting turned to be crap inside a reflective housing. It the light patter all over the place or really bright in one area and pitch black in others? thats what i dealt with when I had mine. Im iffy on getting another set and trying it with the xb

So far, I haven't seen a need to make any adjustments to the lights. The cutoff seems to be fine and light is spread pretty evenly.

thats because our housing reflector on our stock vehicles are a scatter shield reflector, that is mainly for a lower lumens bulb. the HID need a projector to focus the beam to the location it is needed most and optimizes light output. thats why its horrible for the stock car and gives a more blinding output that is SCATTERED all over the place and not focused like the light should be. The higher you go up in lumens the light output deminishes after about 5-6000K Lumens. 6000K is a blueish light where as 9-12,000K get into the purple and ultraviolet lighting, and are again better utilized buy a Projector to focus the light output loss. Some of the color comes from the lense, but most comes from the Lumen output.

If you have ever looked at an actual high end Projector you will see laser etched circles that are used to catch and refract/reflect the beam, maximizing its power... Plus the cutoff is used to not blind others, helping in the process of light directedness. (if thats actually a word, but i guess you know what i mean).

I hope that helps.

HID's are really good to get, but you must have the EQUIPMENT to utilized and effectively produce the light output you are looking for. I have gotten into many arguements in the past about the light output is good with the stock housing, but the facts are that they are not. Maybe better than stock, but again at what cost to others driving infront of you. thats just plain ignorance, and adolescant talk. If you dont care, then that different atleast you are being honest about and not blowing smoke out to others. HID's and Stock housing do not mix, and they are illegal in all states.

Again i am not flaming anyone. If you want to buy these then know the truth about them and how they work. these are my opinions, but also mostly facts and the law.

Man, I didn't see that you had extended that group buy. I call myself checking that thread and it saying the group buy ended on Nov. 15th. so I paid full price.
You should edit the first post so people will find it easier.
