Default Paint...???

Okay mods im not sure if this one has been done or if it is in the right place so please move it if its not in the right forum.

I have a 2006 scion TC with sliver streak for my color of my car. I have been trying for months on where to get some cheap touch up for it. Is there a online store to get slive streak or is there a color that matches the same but different name?

Your dealership parts department? You can get a bottle for $9 or something.

WRONG!! Give them the paint code (1E7 for Silver Streak Mica). They should be able to order it.

If your car is an '06, then you have Classic Silver Metallic - 1F7.

this is the third paint thread i've read in the past month. thanks for wasting two minutes of my time i'll never get back.
Then why did you click on the topic? And dedicate 2 minutes to type that out?

People here on SL get so salty when someone makes a repetitive topic, theres a search button, but really, typing in "paint" would yield a ton of results. I know people should take the time to search and whatnot, but if you see a topic you arent going to say anything positive in, or just make comments like that and claim its wasting your time, why bother posting?

First thing is first, I'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful in any way... To you OR the OP.

When using the search button, a lot of things yield a lot of results, but that's the beauty of not being lazy. This forum is pretty old, you know, and A LOT of topics have already been covered.

I just searched "paint" for the heck of it. Within the first two pages I found FOUR threads on where to get paint, etc... FOUR threads.

And seriously, the internet in general is a good resource for generic paint touch up questions. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that one out on your own. Taking one minute out of life to search on the internet for the exact touch up paint yields some amazing results, too.

And I do realize people get "salty" on here when repetitive threads keep popping up. They have every right to be. I mean, why even have a search button to begin with?

All I was trying to express was to use the search feature. I wasn't personally attacking the OP. It just gets old after a while IMO.

And to the whole "why bother posting" thing - Why did you even respond to my post?

. thanks for wasting two minutes of my time i'll never get back.

Thats an awfully rude comment to leave for someone you claim you arent attacking. Maybe you arent, but thats still rude to say, it didnt even seem to be in a kidding way.

And I responded cause of that, you stated you wasted two minutes of your time telling this person to use the search function, if two minutes meant so much to you (exaggerating) why bother posting? As for me, I think the two minutes I spend having an e-argument ( ) is not wasting my time (sad to say, I have so much time to kill).

Im not picking on you or trying to turn on douche mode. Be easy.

If you don't know your paint code, look at the sticker on the driver's side door frame.
