To Paint the calipers or not, that is the question. HELP!!
I painted mine red with some Acrylic paint and a paint brush. I also didn't have to take the wheels off. All it takes is some time and a steady hand.
I deffinately suggest doing it. It's a quick, easy, and effective mod. Not too many of those out there.

I paid the employee price which I cannot divulge, but the list price is $1795 with red black or silver calipers and slotted rotors. Drilled rotors and blue, yellow or gold calipers are avialable for an additional charge.
i highly suggest taking your wheel off.. it is a bit more of a hastle but i dont think you want to drip paint on your rim so save your self the trouble. all it is is cleaning your caliper, and hand painting it with a ceramic paint. bout it not hard at all.
the problem is, i only have one jack, is it ok to take one wheel off and paint it, then put the wheel back and remove the other wheel and do the same? or do we need to wait the calipers to dry off before we can put the wheels back? anyone??
ok thats fine i only had one jack but i lifted it enough that both tires were off the ground.. the brake cleaner will dry off quickly but take a rag to it and scrub it down.. then your set to apply the paint and put your rim back on.. what i did was took the rim off cleaned it wiped it down then blow dried it.. painted it then blow dried it agian for a quick flash dry. then put the rim back on and went on to the next.. thats about it if you need more tips let me know im happy to help
holy poop, cuz i dont really have much space on one side of my garage since it fits two car in my garage and if i park on the right, there aint much space to even fit me on the right b/c its against the wall.
I say go clear. Remove the calipers and polish tham to a bright shine(lots of sanding, polishing, buffing involved) then seal with a couple/few coats of clear high temp paint. it's a bit more work, but I think it looks better.
Bleeding's not so hard. Plus, if you spend a little extra, you have a good excuse to put those stainless steel lines in. while you're at it, go ahead and get some slotted rotors. They aren't that expensive either. and change to better pads.
I didn't have a problem burnishing my calipers. they look fine. removal and installation was easy. Subtle refinement without drawing unwanted attention.
