Hey All,

My 05 Silver tC's paint is chipping off. It's only very small chips, lie 3 or four I think, but I don't know whow it happened and I don't know why. Anyone esle experiencing this?

Should I just get the paint from Scion and fill in the chipped areas? Will that stop it?

 

its most likely rock chips. i have them too. it sucks. Welcome to NY. You can touch it up if you would like, but it tends to look like poooo.

 

lulz, i have at least 7-10 chips on my hood and side mirrors. not to mention what my front bumper looks like. Scion/Toyota gave us some cheap, thin paint!

 

yeah i think you're considered lucky to have 3-4 ONLY.

 

great.. oh well, I just might have to get some trick paint in the next couple of years..lol

 

I have bumper GASHES...
Wear paint has ripped off in about the size of a palm..
Feel fortunate..
Still debating just getting an aftermarket bumper cause that one is fubared...it went all the way to the plastic..
