Default Paint Chipping

Ok... here's the problem. At first I thought it was just normal wear and tear on the paint. I thought I just had some bad luck and got a rock ding pretty quick in the ownership of my car. But then over the next month, constantly the paint is being chipped... it's like it doesn't even have any protection on the paint. I've only had my car for 4.5 to 5 months and have more chips in the paint then my last two previous cars that were preowned... I've already talked to my the rep that sold me my car and I'm taking it down to the dealership Tuesday to let the service guys look at it... as anybody else experienced problems like this.... hopefully they find a defect and have to fix it... I'm so ____ed, I paid all this money for this car and the paint is ____ing chipping... if they don't find a problem with it then in 5 years it's gonna look like somebody stood in front of my car with a Bazooka BB gun powered my 1,000 CO2 bottles and played Rambo for a week or two...

I agree that the paint chips easily. I have quite a few chips in the front of my car. My old camry had 190K miles on it and only a couple chips in the front so yeah, our paint is weak. Sorry to hear about all your troubles...your not alone.

I hear you man. My car has tiny dings all over the front. It really bugs me, as i've had the car for a year (April 05) and it already looks live i've gone mudding in it or something.

^Well I guess if you count the interstate as a dirt road then I'm guilty... otherwise something needs to be done about this paint issue... we'll see what they say Tuesday..
